And this is where the real transformation lies, and new players emerge.
Not because the big companies are late in transforming themselves,
But because in the transformation process, they confuse the means with the end, and thus lose their purpose.
No one wakes up in the morning to do their job faster, or be more productive. Even with AI.
But you do wake up to learn new things, do new connections, enjoy serving your customers or clients better, solve interesting problems…
The real challenge of AI for many companies is, in my humble opinion, not losing the purpose of why they exist: they focus the company’s efforts on the finger, where the moon should remain the end purpose…
